It provides an easy way for anyone interested in food system transformation to search, access, and download valuable resources tailored to different audiences.

What’s an example?

We currently feature over 30 resources — from project reports to awareness-raising articles — all available for browsing or download.

New! Since early 2025, FOODPathS resources are also available on our Zenodo account.

What is it?

The Sustainable Food Systems Network (SFSN) is an online community space where people working on or interested in food systems can connect, share knowledge, explore collaboration opportunities, and stay informed. Launched in 2020 by the FIT4FOOD2030 project, it brings together over 2,600 members — including policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, NGOs, and citizens.

Why do we use it?

The SFSN is a powerful space to reach and engage people who care about transforming food systems. It allows us to promote FOODPathS activities, share results, spark dialogue, and invite feedback. Because users can create posts, share resources, launch polls, and promote events, it’s also a living repository and active engagement hub — even after the project ends.

What’s an example?

On the SFSN, we post project news, updates, and promote activities like webinars and workshops. FOODPathS also contributes to thematic groups of the SFSN like FOOD 2030 Networks (powered by the CLEVERFOOD project) and share news on SFSN Newsletters. Search for #FOODPathS on the platform to find our updates.

What is it?

FOODPathS webinars are live online events designed to share knowledge, spark discussion, and explore key ideas in sustainable food systems — from health and sustainability, to governance, research, education, and more. They feature expert speakers, real-life examples, panel discussions and interactive Q&A sessions.

Why do we use it?

Webinars help us build a shared understanding across disciplines and audiences. By presenting inspiring case studies — and sometimes even lessons from failure — we make complex topics more approachable. They also offer space for direct dialogue and networking between participants and experts.

What’s an example?

All past FOODPathS webinars are listed in a dedicated page for Webinars & Podcasts. Check this page for reading more about key highlights or watch the recording.

Webinars

Podcasts

What is it?

FOODCastS is the FOODPathS podcast series: each episode explores key topics in food systems transformation, featuring expert voices or highlights inspiring initiatives that contribute to building sustainable food systems.

Why do we use it?

Podcasts allow us to communicate complex ideas in a simple, engaging way. Their short format makes them ideal for a broad range of stakeholders, including citizens, and ensures our insights can reach beyond live events and traditional channels.

What’s an example?

The first episodes of FOODCastS have been released on Spotify in May 2025, and new ones will be published soon during the year. Stay updated by visiting the Webinars & Podcasts page.

What is it?

FOODPathS press releases are official news statements designed to share major project milestones, activities, and results with the media and the public. They help us inform both general and specialized audiences at national and EU levels.

Why do we use it?

Press releases raise visibility and expand our reach to stakeholders who may not be actively following the project. By tailoring the language to suit different audiences, we ensure key updates are accessible to both media professionals and the wider public.

What’s an example?

One of our recent press releases focused on the Declaration signed by FOODPathS calling EU policymakers to prioritise the transition to sustainable food systems. A news article with the  downloadable statement can be found here.

Short videos

What is it?

FOODPathS short videos are quick, engaging clips that explain key project topics in food systems.

Why do we use it?

Short videos are a dynamic way to connect with stakeholders on social media platforms. They make complex topics easy to understand and give a human face to the project by featuring partners and Advisory Board members as speakers.

What’s an example?

All FOODPathS’ short videos are available on the @SciFoodHealth YouTube channel, and shared through LinkedIn, and X (just search for #FOODPathS). For instance watch this shorts or video inviting stakeholders to the FOODPathS Festival.

What is it?

FOODPathS leaflets, brochures, and factsheets provide clear, accessible summaries of the project’s goals, results, and approaches. These materials are tailored to different audiences and developed at key moments in the project to reflect progress and findings.

Why do we use it?

These tools are ideal for engaging sector-specific stakeholders, funders, and the wider public by offering concise overviews in both print and digital formats. Designed for flexibility and clarity, they help make FOODPathS content more visible, shareable, and usable across contexts.

What’s an example?

You can see the leaflet with recommendations to potential funders, the factsheet for guidelines for partnerships and a two-page project summary.
