10th European Conference on Sustainable Cities and Towns (ESCT)
FOODPathS invites food (systems) experts and those working on local food transitions towards sustainability to attend this conference. Read more below and register to secure your spot.

This year’s European Conference on Sustainable Cities and Towns (ESCT) will challenge local governments to shape a new urban reality that is sustainable, resilient and just. Organised by the ICLEI European Secretariat, the FOODPathS and FoodCLIC projects will jointly host a workshop on “How can inclusivity in food system transformation create resilience?” and a site visit focusing on “Innovating the local food system”. The conference will take place in Aalborg, Denmark on 1-3 October.
About the conference
The conference will represent a moment in which stakeholders can reflect on how to ensure a bottom-up and shared governance, a more efficient and private integrated finance, and, finally, a more inclusive and cohesive transition. Over 1000 participants from local and regional governments, European and international institutions, multilateral organisations, the research community, businesses, and civil society are expected to attend the conference.
